Phillips Brewing Company Glitter Bomb – Hazy Pale Ale American Pale Ale at 5% ABV

Phillips Brewing Company Glitter Bomb Hazy Pale Ale American Pale Ale at 5% ABV (C$2.92 at Collective, 355 ml, best before 17-Jan-2020, acquired 22-Sep-2019, reviewed 25-Sep-2019)

Appearance: opaque pale gold with one finger of loose pale ivory head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, minimal spotty lacing. (3/5) Aroma: citrus, pine, caramel, . (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, medium duration slightly astringent finish. (4/5)

Awww… I was hoping for actual glitter. Pretty unremarkable NE/Hazy. No real negatives but nothing stands out as memorable, either. (14/20)

7/10 #ryansbooze ryansbooze.com

Got this, no fucking glitter whatsoever wtf? Seems to be a fancy name for a mediocre beer.

Perhaps a slightly harsh assessment, but not one I can really disagree with, either!
