Appearance: hazy pale gold with one fat finger of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, spotty lacing. (3/5) Aroma: mild, tinned pineapple, bready wheat, hint of banana and bubblegum. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, low bitter. (6/10) Medium-light body, moderate carbonation, off-dry short finish. (3/5)
Funnily enough just as I poured this, I Am Your Pineapple came up on my music playlist. Can’t say there was any noticeable improvement to the beer as a result. A fairly typical wheat ale, with some additional sweetness provided by the pineapple. Not bad, just not very much of, well, anything. (12/20)
