Appearance: clear brown with one finger of fine beige head, good retention and moderate soapy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: mild, cocoa, nuts. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry medium duration finish. (3/5)
If I were flying, this is exactly the kind of flight path I’d want: smooth and level, with no surprises. But, since I’m drinking, not flying, I wouldn’t mind a little turbulence. Pleasant, and certainly well made, but a bit unremarkable. (14/20)
