Appearance: opaque pale gold with one fat finger of rocky pale ivory head diminishing gradually to a persistent cap, spotty lacing. (4/5) Aroma: pine, citrus, pale crackery malt. (9/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium body, moderate-soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. (4/5)
I can’t say I’ve had a lot by these guys (I think this one might be number four) but in my experience they pretty consistently produce a quality product. I particularly like how this one leads with a dry resiny pine, backstopped with a grapefruit-like citrus, and carries through with a clean dry finish. Not a lot of elements here, but very well done. I could drink a lot of these. (17/20)
