Appearance: hazy pale gold with two fingers of fluffy off-white head diminishing rapidly to a persistent cap and spotty soapy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: banana, cloves, wheat, floral. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, low bitter, light spice & tart. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry mild bitter lightly tart & spicy finish. (3/5)
The high point here is probably the wheaty tartness, but all in all it’s a pretty middle-of-the-road example of the style. (13/20)
