Appearance: hazy pale straw with two fat fingers of rocky white head, good retention and well-defined chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: mild, oily citrus, pale biscuity malt, light funk. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, low bitter. (6/10) Palate: light body tending thin, moderate carbonation, dry mildly spicy slightly astringent finish. (3/5)
Very mild aroma and flavour, and even thinner than the low-ish ABV would suggest. The kveik yeast makes things a little more interesting, but it’s pretty minimal and not enough to salvage this from the doldrums of boredom. Not a big fan of this one. (12/20)
