The Establishment Brewing Company Picture of Nectar – American IPA at 7% ABV (C$4.90 at Collective, 473 ml, packaged on 25-Nov-2021, acquired 2-Dec-2021, reviewed 3-Dec-2021)
Appearance: hazy pale gold with two fingers of fluffy pale ivory head, excellent retention and moderate soapy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: juicy tropical & stone fruit, citrus, cereal grains, dank resiny pine. (9/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-low bitter. (9/10) Palate: medium slightly creamy body, moderate-soft carbonation, off-dry lightly dank finish. (4/5)
Malts are 2 Row, Flaked Oats, Flaked Wheat, Malted Wheat, and Chit Malt; hopped with Vic Secret, Galaxy, Bru-1, Citra, and Chinook; Foggy London Ale yeast. Almost nectar-like and brightly fruity, without being too sweet. Yeah, I’m getting a bit bored with talking about how much I like this brewer…. NOT. Yet another solid contender from a brewer that just doesn’t know how to make a bad beer – of the something like 22 examples I’ve had, a full 16 were an 8 or better. (17/20)
This will be my 5,143rd unique Untappd check-in.
