Appearance: hazy pale amber with one fat finger of rocky ivory head, excellent retention and moderate soapy lacing. (5/5) Aroma: tropical & stone fruit, citrus, cereal grains, light resiny pine. (8/10) Taste: moderate-high sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium-full body, moderate-lively carbonation, off-dry warming finish. (4/5)
Medicine Woman indeed – if that doesn’t cure you, you’re beyond hope. Sweetish but not cloying fruit nectar dominates, with clean malt and just a hint of dank. Definitely doesn’t drink like it’s double digits. Hell, it’s almost worth the price. (17/20)
