Appearance: hazy straw with two fat fingers of fluffy white head, excellent retention and moderate stringy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: mild, melon, tropical fruit, vinous, cereal grains. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-low bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium-light body, moderate-lively carbonation, short duration finish with a hint of tartness. (4/5)
Nelson Sauvin, Pacifica, and Idaho 7. I know, it’s “only” a Pale, and so I wasn’t expecting it to be as full-on as an IPA, but it still felt just the tiniest bit lacking. It’s good, but I would have appreciated a bit more oomph in both the aroma and flavour. Just a little too light overall. (15/20)
