Appearance: clear deep brown with one fat finger of light tan head, excellent retention and good lacing. (4/5) Aroma: dark roast espresso, very faint lactic. (8/10) Taste: moderate-low sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium-full body, moderate-low carbonation, off-dry finish. (3/5)
Yes, it smells like coffee. No, nothing else, other than a smidge of cream. Tastes pretty much like coffee, too. No, nothing else, other than a smidge of cream. And I mean neither of those in a negative way. Smooth espresso that gets you drunk? Sign me up! (15/20)
