Appearance: clear pale amber, two fingers of rocky light beige head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: citrus, stone fruit, grassy, caramel malt, light onion. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off dry bitter finish. (3/5)
Not a bad APA – certainly a pretty one, if otherwise not all that impressive. The hops are a little muted, and there’s a slight onion (or cattty) note that grows as the pint progresses. It’s not bad, even so. (13/20)
