Appearance: slightly hazy pale amber with one finger of creamy off-white head, good retention and moderate chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: brown sugar, boozy dark stone fruits, mild Belgian phenols. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, light funk. (6/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, boozy warming finish. (4/5)
A bit sweeter than I prefer Tripels, but not bad. … aaaaand that’s all I have to say about that. Well, other than “Hey, Boxing Rock does a Tripel now!” (14/20)
