Appearance: hazy deep gold with two fingers of rocky white head, good retention and chunky droopy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: floral, stone fruit, tropical fruit, wheat, hint of coconut & vanilla. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, sweetish medium duration finish. (3/5)
I’ve had quite a few Piña Colada beers, as well as a few Milkshake IPAs. This is, well, neither. Rather than being dominated by either pineapple or coconut, this is more perfumy floral and stone fruit. Oxidized, I presume, but without a packaging date, who knows? (12/20)
