Appearance: clear straw with one fat finger of loose white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, minimal spotty lacing. (3/5) Aroma: citrus zest, dank pine. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body tending light, moderate-lively carbonation, medium duration off-dry finish. (3/5)
Brewer notes indicate that this is hopped with Simcoe and Citra, which comes through in the character. No off notes at all, but this is definitely a Pale that feels like it’s a cut-down IPA. Good, but pretty forgettable. (14/20)
