Appearance: hazy deep gold with one fat finger of pillowy pale ivory head, good retention and moderate soapy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: citrus, tropical fruit, cereal grains, mild pine. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate-soft carbonation, medium duration finish. (4/5)
I mean, it’s fine. But that’s about as far as I’d go. I can’t point to anything specific as a real fault here, but no more can I point to anything that really breaks through: it’s fine, but it doesn’t establish itself as special. (15/20)
