Changing Colours Brewing Project Bastards of Young

Changing Colours Brewing Project Bastards of Young – American IPA at 7.5% ABV (C$6.75 at Collective, 473 ml, packaged on 11-Jun-2026, acquired 24-Jul-2026, reviewed 18-Aug-2026)

Appearance: hazy pale gold with two fingers of fluffy pale ivory head, good retention and moderate soapy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: dank resin, stone & tropical fruit, citrus, earth, hint of vegetal. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium slightly creamy body, moderate carbonation, medium duration slightly sticky mildly warming finish. (4/5)

“Project 033.2026” “Cryo Lupomax, Citra Cryo, Citra T90, Mosaic Spectrum, Simcoe Cryo” Yet another “Saturated Hoppy Ale”. So… Citra three ways, plus its sorta-predecessor/sibling with its direct offspring? Works for me. This one might have been in the can just a little longer than optimal, and isn’t quite as brightly juicy as I’d like, but is still very nice. (16/20)

This will be my 6,475th unique Untappd check-in.

8/10 #ryansbooze ryansbooze.com
