Mikkeller Tumble Dry Low – American IPA at 7.5% ABV (C$4.81 at Collective, 473 ml, packaged on 10-Mar-2022, acquired 1-Dec-2022, reviewed 23-Dec-2022)
Appearance: slightly hazy pale gold with one fat finger of fluffy near-white head, good retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: citrus, resiny pine, caramel, earth. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, medium duration mildly warming finish. (4/5)
Hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe Cryo. Almost certainly would have been better fresher, but I guess that’s on me. Pleasant, but just middle of the road for the style, and not up to the standard of some Mikkeller offerings I’ve tried. (15/20)
